Roman Holiday

We were lucky enough to have a few days to spend in Rome when my Mom and sister were visiting... I could never spend enough time in that city.... what an absolutely amazing place!

We took the train from my apartment in Milan to the central station... 7am! Looking great, ladies... ;)

This place had the most amazing 4 cheese gnocci you'll ever meet.

We were so hungry from traveling that we probably would have eaten anything, but it was nothing short of delicious!

So delicious, in fact, that we came back here for our last lunch in Rome, a few days later.   Yum.

We started off with a bus tour of the city, it was so nice getting to see a preview of everything we would be doing.  It was hard to choose what to include and what to leave off our itinerary... we really should have stayed for a month.

We stopped at a small grocery store on our way back to the hotel, and found these delicious kiddie snacks:

Horse??   : (

I think this is more our style.  DELICIOUS PIES.
After an eventful shopping trip, we retreated back to the hotel for a quick nap before dinner.
: )  Two of a kind.....

Well, that's all for now.  Colin is in town and we're off to do some bathing suit shopping before our hiking trip next week.  I still have lots more photos from Rome, and a bunch from London to post!  I need to catch up so I can start sharing my adventures with Colin with you !

It's been in the mid 80's here, so seeing all of these photos from Rome of us wearing sweaters and scarfs makes me cringe!  Summer is officially here... :)

Happy Friday!  Anyone have any particularly exciting weekend plans ....... ?

Love,

Beth
